I cant help thinking you should have stuck it out a few more months. For gods sake she is carrying your baby, if that's not worth putting your self out for what is??? You should be more of a man. She cant just walk away from the responsibility. May be its all down to her hormones and you can sort things out, try and understand her, she will be all over the place at this time.
I think it will be hard to bond with the baby when your not with the mother but not impossible, do your best by both of them but be the best dad you can whatever!!

My husband and i broke up 3 weeks before our daughter was born. He was present at the birth, and even though he was to busy with his crazy lifestyle the first nine month of her life, he saw the light and sees his daughter regularly now (sleep over contact 2 nights a week)
Children need their daddies. My ex and i don't bond either, we are just civil to each other now.
good luck

My real dad was never there for me. He left my mom when she was pregnant with me. She had to force him to see me. Then he moved to TX and got a whole new family that 24 years later still doesn't involve me.
I lucked out. My mom married the man I call my dad when I was one. He raised me and never treated me like I wasn't his. He adopted me at age seven and was there for everything. From learning how to tie my shoes to giving me away at my wedding last year. I thank God a real man came into my mom and I's life and showed me that there a good men out there.

I never cheated on my son's mother while she was pregnant but she thought I did. When she accused me of having another GF all I could think of was "Do you really think I want to go through this (pregnancy) twice?"

very tricky if you no longer love her it better to leave. Hopefully you will still have enough respect and be there for her emotionally financially and whatever else that might help. Just be honest, will be hard but easier in the long run

My ex left me as soon as i found out i was preg. He didnt come around much after that. He did come to the hospital, and it was hard to share that moment together, but it ment a lot to me. Now my son is two and doesnt even know who his sperm donor is...
Its hard to have a kid with someone your nolonger with, but its worth it. Just stick in there and hopefuly things work out.
