That said, I would tread carefully. If your friend is straight, then there is no romantic future for the two of you. If she isn't, but say's she is, she may not have realized her sexuality, so move with caution. Flirt mildly, see what kind of response you get.

You have to remind yourself that she's ONLY your friend. If she is straight, you won't end up making out, you'll end up awkward and you may lose your friend.
