People keep asking what i mean by fee, by free i mean us tax payers pay for it. Frankly as a tax payer i'm paying for a bunch of things i would rather not, FREE HEALTH CARE FOR KIDS, i understand. We are the richest country, kids should not suffer in this country.

maybe not free but reasonably priced so it can be afforded. (I have NY child health plus and pay 9 dollar a month, which I consider extremely extremely reasonable). I could not afford her on my personal insurance. It would have been better to pay out of pocket.

Define "free." The health care that would be provided would be paid for by tax dollars, which is a wealth redistribution system. It would also provide a minimal, basic level of care that would lower the standard of the entire system.

By free, do you mean paid for by someone else?

Nothing is free.

Why not give everyone free healthcare. Make health care employees and doctors work for free. Make pharmaceutical companies produce drugs for free. Make healthcare equipment manufacturers produce products for free. Make hospitals treat patients for free.

How is this possible?

No-- somebody has to pay for it.

It should be available and affordable to those who want it but not "free". People **generally** don't value or take care of things they get for free--

Personal responsibility of the parent! Can't afford them, don't have them. We all know by the 6th grade what brings children into existence. We also know different forms of birth control including abstinence!

There is no such thing as free health care! Somebody has to pay for it!
