I had a miscarriage on Saturday and have been bleeding since then. Yesterday, it looked like it was starting to taper off, but then last night and this morning, it's heavy again, last night I was feeling a bit woozy, and tired. Is this normal?
I am going to see the doctor tomorrow...

Yes, this was my first pregnancy after 10 years of TTC, and I was about 6 weeks.

Thanks everyone for your help

i had a d&c on my second miscarriage, none on my first. It depends on your age, how far along you were and how long it took you to deliver the placenta.
I'm really sorry for your loss, those of us who have been through it sympathize the most for you.
I had two miscarriages and a beautiful baby girl. If this is your first pregnancy, don't give up, even if the doctors tell you you'll never have kids (thats exactly what I was told) because you never know what your body can actually do!

When I had my miscarriage I was at 6 weeks. My bleeding went on for about the length of time as a normal period, but was a bit heavier. I did not have to have a D&C.

P.S. remember no tampons allowed during this time, pads only.

I am very sorry for your loss.
I bled for 9 days after my miscarriage (I was 5 weeks), and the bleeding sometimes got heavier if I was more active, or in a very warm/hot environment. I felt pretty drained, too, but it's good that you're going to see the doctor.

Yes it is normal, but you need to tell your doctor what is happening also. You could have a hemorrhage also so this is an important talk to have with your doctor. There is a lot of tissue and blood to remove after a failed pregnancy, but you can still have complications. Stay in contact with your doctor until they say everything is normal again.

i didn't have a d&c after my loss, but i did bleed heavy on and off for 4weeks which made me very weak and dizzy but i was having weekly check ups and scans at the hospital
so put you feet up for tonight but make sure you keep your appointment tomorrow and tell the doctor if you lose to much blood they may need to give you something to help.
im sorry for your loss x x x x

I was dizzy the entire time I started to miscarry. I bleed for 3 weeks straight. They may schedule to do a DC to clean the uterus.

Movement (getting up and down or doing laundry, dinner, dishes, etc) can cause it to start up again. Take it easy, elevate your legs and have a talk (not just an office visit) tomorrow with the doctor. Ask him ALL resources he can refer you to regarding support, etc.

you should really rest and relax and if you continue to feel worse you should call your dr. or go to the emergency room....I know that I was really tired for days but just try to rest and take it easy for a few days
