Hey, my friend and I are working on a project together, we need a SMALL amount of information on some different things in our Gov't class. We're having some problems finding sites that don't have too much information to figure out what each thing is about, if you help we would be most thankful!

What we need information for:
Magna Carta
Petition of Right
English Bill of Rights
"league of friendship"
The Albany Plan
The Stamp Act
Boston Massacre
Boston Tea Party
The First Continental Congress
The Second Continental Congress
Declaration of Independence
Battles of Lexington and Concord
Articles of Confederation
End of Revolutionary War
Treaty of Paris
Meeting at Mount Vernon
Meeting at Annapolis
Start of the Civil war

We need sites that we can use to create a 2-3 sentence summary from, and find the dates for, at least the year -- again, any help is much appreciated, thanks!

just a reminder, we're looking for things that aren't going to give us so much information that we can't get just the basic details out of it, things that are focused on history, and wikipedia are both very into detail and length, the wikipedia article on the Magna Carta alone would print out somewhere around 24 pages worth of stuff

www.wikipedia.com
it's an online encyclopedia. the info is pretty reliable. but, sometimes not 100%. anyways, i don't think you'll have problems with these topics. it's really easy to use. just put your topics into the "search" field. and there is a lot of interesting stuff on there. i don't know what you're expecting, though. it's not just going to answer the questions for you. part of learning is research. sorry hon. it took me a while to figure out too. you'll like wikipedia. there's cool stuff on there.
