She mocks paris hilton and nicole richie by dressing up like them in that video and going around with a tiny dog like they do..but she acts so stupid, as if she thinks they are stupid.
And she drives a car and hits a ton of people..looking like lindsay lohan.
And, she does the jessica simspon car thing.
And gwen stefani by dancing next to 50 cent..
WHO the hell does she think she is to mock them?? Why does she need to judge and have an opinon about them.. let alone wrote a whole freakin song about them. A little obsessed?
She needs to stop commenting and trying to change them. Its just even more stupid than the way they act.

wow csi_sande... You need to CALM down. If you can honesty say that you hate me and want to kill me without even knowing me just based on my problem with pink... you have the bigger problem. You need to calm down and get some friends and learn how to act in normal society.

Well, I can understand her wanting to mock Paris Hilton, Lindsey Lohan, etc. However, I don't think she actually wrote the song about these people specifically, it was just a concept for the video which fitted well with the song. I really don't know how she can try to change them - maybe this is as close as she can get? She is, at any rate, entitled to express an opinion.
Having said all this, I can't say I especially like Pink. There is a bit of pot & kettle going on here - is Pink really any more in control as an artist (as this seems to be part of the theme behind the song) than the people she parodies?

I think it depends on how you comment the pink thing.Look at the world.everygirl want to seem like lindsay or jessica(even paris)they show up by sharing their fancy cars,homes,money and fascinating(!) life.Do you think that it's really necessary for teenage people?(who have a difficulty in making decisions,living their own choices witkout pressure coming from society)Pink does not mock she just shows that we do not have to be like them,we are what we are that is all.Just try to understand and accept that she made a revoulation :P Girls are free now.They don'T have to be blonde,don^t have to have a sexy look and most important they can live their lives without being a it girl.As I see you don't have trouble with this it girls mad.But some people have.so please look the situation from this view.Maybe you are right maybe she is rude.But music don't have to be nice:Pso singers do.We are free:)

I think it's because Pink is disgusted by how some women are acting today, and is hoping by mocking them she will get them to think about changing their behavior. She may also think that the whole Women's Liberation movement can be ruined by this behavior, not to mention that some girls use said celebrities for role models. The celebrities she mocks act like senseless trollops, and Pink thinks that they give all women a bad image. I kinda agree with the line "where have all the smart girls gone?" because smart girls are soooo much hotter. IMHO.

She probably mocks them because in her eyes they are not to bright. And in a way she is showing how she views them which is her opinion, just like Eminem. But with Pink I gotta say she does make a point though. Many girls look up to celebrities and try to imitate them, what Pink might be trying to say you should be your own person instead of trying to imitate glamorized individuals on t.v.

they are celebrities, and they all know the rules of fame. people will mock and critize, much like you are doing with pink. she's just taking advantage of that liberty.
say what you want, at the end of the day, she goes home to her millions one way or the other and doesn't give a rat's *** what you have to say. she's still gonna get paid.
