It will only work if you own the premium version of xbox360, ($399 version)

Yes, you will need a hard drive and a software emulator easily downloaded from the Microsoft xbox web site (or through Xbox live). See this site for a listing of all original xbox games available: http://www.xbox.com/en-US/games/backwardcompatibilitygameslist.htm

If It works on XboX original then It will definetely work on the XboX360 .
