Its all about time. If trust has been broken you have to earn it back over time. Start by asking things of each other that will make u feel better about a certain situation. It could be simple things like answering the phone when one calls, spending time with each other rather then friends for the time being. What ever is going to make u feel better. Start there and let time heal the rest.

Maybe you're just not compatible and should stop trying to force the issue. If you're been through a lot and have no sense of security with each other, isn't that a sign that it's just not mean to be? There are times when you need to stop "DOING" and just realize it's not good and will never be good.

Depends on what you've been thru together. Usually couples come out stronger after enduring hardships together.

However, if what you've endured together had to do with trust....
Well that could be very difficult to overcome. If you truly BOTH wish to resolve whatever issues you may have, AND you're not able to do it together.......perhaps a professional counselor would be able to assist you both in sorting it all out.

Trust has to grow and as long as trust is not being broken it will continue to grow. Everyone has a certain amount of insecurity but you can work past those feelings. Good luck to you and your girlfriend.

Honesty with one another is the first step i think, get it all out on
the table, talk about what bothers you and she do the same and be honest in telling her what she can do to make it better or change the way she does it and she do the same to you.

When she asks you to do something, make sure you do it. Be responsible and dependable. Keep your promises , and when you can't, be up front about it. If she does the same it can help you both to strengthen the bond.

Trust is earned over time. If it has been lost, then time is what you need.
