This is very common in people who are pregnant. The only advice I can give you is to ask your doctor to check your blood iron levels. You also need to rest several times a day especially if where you are working you are on your feet a lot. Other things are to Drink plenty of water. One of the effects of dehydration is to make you tired. Get some exercise every day. Exercise helps keep your energy levels higher during pregnancy and increases your stamina for labor (which you dont have to worry about for months down the road).

When I went through the super tired stage I had to get at least 10 hours of sleep a night to be able to function at work the next day. Now I am back to 7-8 hours. Try taking a nap at lunch or closing your eyes during a break or something. It's a rough time!!

wow this happens to you too! I fell asleep when I was driving both times I was pregnant. But you need to wake up at work though, you dont want to get caught doing that!!! The only thing I can think of is getting up and doing a little light strech when you are feeling drowsy. Or maybe some OJ to get some kind of energy. But be careful with juice. It gives you bursts of energy and then you drop real quickly.

I needed more than 8 hours of sleep when I was 12 weeks. In fact, after work, I would just go home and sleep. I bought some snacks to work (like dried fruit and crackers) to keep me awake, but of course, I still yawned like crazy! I think you have more sleep. It might help a bit more.

Try to take a quick nap at lunch if you can, go to bed earlier if you can. You need all the rest you can get. A lot of work is going on inside you right now.
