It's a very pretty ring and it looks rather old. Any information on the makers mark would be wonderful. Thank in advance for your help.

I don't know if any famous brand uses an S with a line through it as a logo. Sorry. Take it to a jeweler & ask, they might be able to recognize it.
It's a sterling silver ring and it's most likely not worth much. It's going to tarnish. Be sure not to use any products to clean it except ones made for sterling silver.

The "S" stands for Silver, most likey solid, keep a hold of it.
