I can see European Prime Ministers laughing on the phone if Obama asked for an interview. And same for the Chinese and Japanese.

I don't think other countries have the amount of racial discrimination that we have. They would be fine if we had a black, hispanic, or female president. Besides a lot of people think the prevert that we had 6 years ago was a good president.

The world stopped taking the US seriously when they re-elected Bush. How seriously can you take a country that elects B list actors (Reagan) as President and musclemen (Schwarzenegger) as governors. As for Obama, I'm suspicious of anyone that is anointed by Oprah Winfrey. Don't care about the colour of his skin, and neither will the rest of the world.

What a dumb question. People take the USA seriously because USA needs to be taken seriously not because the president looks a certain way. I had to cope with taking GW seriously because he was elected.

Hillary or Obama should not have any problems.

I don't think it matters honestly, what color or even which gender our president is. As long as the president is competent and intelligent, with the country's best interests at heart, the issue of race (or gender) shouldn't matter.

We should be concerned with selecting the best possible candidate, without regard to such issues. Only then, will we be taken seriously.

B. Hussein Obama is first and maximum properly known, a racist ex-crack head Marxist. His being a follower of that racist Marxism pronounced as Black Liberation Theology actual would not entitle him to make the declare of being a Christian (nor his major different). At best, he's a apostate Muslim. that is his being a racist ex-crack head Marxist that disqualifies him from the place of work. I loath him.

Considering what a horrible job Bush has done, I don't see how the color of a persons skin makes one bit of difference.

I think so. It doesn't matter what race the president is, they all deserve the same respect.

They take us seriously now and we have an idiot in office. If I had to choose between an idiot and an African American, I choosed the African American every time.

That is a ridiculous statement. Way to spread hate and racism, and to talk on behalf of all people from other nations!
