Shh....Don't tell anyone, but yes you do. You have the right to hate anyone and anything as long as that hatred does not lead you to commit a crime against that person. Otherwise, because of our hate-crime legislation, you will automatically get 5 years or something to that effect added onto your sentence for a thought process. Isn't it nice when they legislate thought. I would think a murder is a murder. Whether or not you hated the person, or group of people against whom you committed the crime should have no bearing on your punishment for said crime. Know what I'm sayin. Thanks and have a nice day.

I do not like that word hate but, as imperfect humans, it is a normal feeling to have. As an American, speaking personally, I hate anyone and anything that stomps on our value system. for example, people who come to live here and don't respect the fact the we are an English speaking country!

Yes you have the right to hate anyone you wish, the 1st Amendment guarantees it.

You do not have the right to hate and criticize someone without other people judging you and criticizing you for making hateful statements. You are only free from government sanction.

Yes, you have the right to hate anyone-no one can take that thought from you. If your religious, you will see even God hates certain things (according to his word). And he is considered to be very loving.

But I would think The best thing is not to hate anyone, only to care about things. That is the only way out of it. As soon as you have forgiven those whom you hate, you have gotten rid of them. Then you have no reason to hate them; you just forget. I like that way better. Doesn't mean you can't dislike certain things-only means you have more control over how it affects you.
