first ask yourself if you are serious or if you are joking.
try talking to the girl of small things like assignments, time tables etc.
one day tell the girl "that you forgot to take notes during the class and would like to get her notes for a day."
otherwise try asking for some books from which you would like to take some photocopies.
ask some doubts in your lessons
Or give some chocolates on your birthday. think dude. where there is a will , there is a way.

if she really isn't studying. chances are if she likes you she is just using that as an excuse to see you. Just pay attention to her body language and the way she looks at you-it shouldn't be too hard to figure out.

Then you can become more friends and then just ask.
