because in spring time, it's the lambing season. This is the time when ewes give birth so lambs are born. It is seen as a time of new life!

Probably because lambs are usually born in spring and also probably because at the beginning of spring people used to bring together all sheep and the new born lambs and to get them to the mountain where the fields were green. They used to stay there all summer, and in autumn they would return home.

UK lambs are born in the Spring and so are racehorses and birds and plants. Spring is a wonderful season for rebirth and if you live in somewhere like Nigeria you don't get Spring only rain or no rain

Well sping is the season of life. After the winter the new year begins and the world builds up again. Trees gain leaves, buds grow on plants and animals are born. I suppose lambs are a popular animal we see so most of us think of these first.
