when I'm trying to call someone from work, I'd rather leave a message than call over and over and over. I've heard some really good and really bad greetings.

I rarely use them anymore... I rather just look at the missed calls on my caller ID and pick the people I want to call back.

The old style would double as a cassette tape player, that was useful.
I don't have any friends so it doesn't matter.
