Sorry to hear that your depressed. My daughter went through the same thing when she was a teenager. I took her to the family doctor and he spoke with her and said that her hormones were unbalanced. She did have problems every month with her menstrual period she would miss more times than actually having it. The doctor started her on birth control to balance her hormones. Try going to a doctor or clinic you may be surprised at the info. they give you. You could also have a chemical in balance as well. This can make you feel depressed. So do yourself a favour and go for some help. Cocoa

When I was 15 I felt the same way and it didn't get much better as I got older, so I don't believe it is age related. I believe it is caused by the chemicals in your brain. I suggest you get your parent or guardian to take you to a counselor for treatment. You should be on an anti-depressant and be helped on how to live a healthier life style.

My suggestions include no smoking, drinking, or drugs! Get out and do some exercise like running, cycling, and dance. Get a friend who is into healthy activities, and go to church. All this will help you become more confident and healthy.

I know all this because I have been there and done that! Love yourself and try to love others. I wish you the best that life has to offer!

Growing up is hard and at that time things seem to feel like everything and one is out to get you. Im 20 now but when I was 15 I felt the same way although it was. Just remember your always lucky with what you have. How you look is who you are. Be yourself dont change for anyone. People will always hurt you, let it go. As life goes on you are going to meet people. You dont need the people who are just going to backstab you. At 15 you cant really help where you live. Just enjoy life. These are going to be the best years of your life TRUST ME. I lost my mom and dad at your age and had to grow up real fast. Live your life, dont let it bring you down. If so change it. Be happy. Cuz when ur life is full of decisions and work. you wanna look abck and be like hey i had fun and enjoyed it while i could.

When I was your age (I'm 25 now) I always hated when adults told me to "get over it"
Adults seem to forget what it's like to be a teenager. And these days it's harder than ever to be your age. (My opinion).
But you just have to remember that you are growing up now. And although things might SEEM to be all wrong, you have to remind yourself to look at the brighter side of things. Think about this: There are lots of girls (and boys) in other parts of the world that have things so much harder than you. Kids getting sold for illegal childhood prostitution. Children who lose their parents due to major illnesses (like AIDS in Africa) and have to raise younger siblings when they are just children themselves. Remind yourself that things could be worse and take what you have in life with appreciation.
Your looks are just beginning to blossom. And no matter what others might think of you, remember that if you are beautiful on the inside, it will reflect on the outside. It might be hard not to look at supermodels or actresses on TV and in magazines and want to look like them. But they are humans just like us. No better than anyone else.
It will take time to get adjusted to the changes your experiencing. But trust me, one day you will look back at the time when you were 15 and wish you could live it all over again.

Keep your head up high and your heart in the right places....it will all fall into place.

Things aren't going to change any time soon, Hon, so I'm afraid you will need to adapt and change your outlook. Just think about the worst that could happen, then make it into nothing, You have this power.
