Total Earthly happiness would be complete awareness of myself as spirit. I try to maintain this awareness but sometimes the physical side of my self will take over and this side of me is always craving, desiring or wanting relief from something. It is never content.
The spirit is accepting of what is and desires no more than it is. So it is not so much a matter of 'conflict' as it is a matter of non-compatibility, yet they can coexist well with a little awareness.

Earthly happiness would definitely be making lots of money. It's somewhat in conflict with spiritual happiness because I shouldn't need anything outside of myself in order to be happy. If I remember that, and don't allow myself to become addicted to money, nor have a need for it then the conflict will be resolved. I don't think the earthly and the spirtual have to be exclusive of one another.

Earthly happiness would be all my needs taken care of, and just a few of the extras. I wouldn't want all the extras, because we know from experience that having everything we want either makes us sick or gets boring. You can have too much of a good thing. So true happiness on earth would be an adequate amount of good things.
Having that kind of happiness wouldn't interfere with spiritual happiness, because I'm not being avaristic or selfish or evil. I could easily be spiritually happy with that kind of earthly happiness.

Before one can answer the question with conviction, one first must understand the flesh(the mind a way of thinking) vs the spiritual realm. The question i would ask does you earthly happiness enrich your spiritual.

No; I really don't sense any "conflict" between my sensual delights and my spiritual happiness.
Often, the two are interrelated.
I enjoy good sex and find it satisfying on a physical, psychological and spiritual level. Sex can be and is a form of meditation. Not for all people, but for some.
I enjoy working in my garden; all aspects of it. Tilling the soil in the spring, planting, weeding, tending the crops, harvesting them, and turning them under for the following year, enriching and building the soil. I enjoy having my hands involved in it, and immersed into the soil. It is a very "grounding" experience. It is aesthetically AND spiritually satisfying.

Well, that which you call "spiritual happiness" does not exist as you understand that...Happiness on Earth has its opposite "unhappiness" and cannot be separated one from another...It is one coin with two sides. You cannot escape experience both, one or another.. Both is stressful extremes, and stress, whether positive or negative still a stress which does not contribute to harmony, rather creates imbalance with all following consequences. Being above a duality (happy/unhappy, bad and good, right and wrong) invites to the state in which Being always are and human consciousness join Being. Sense of being free from burden of humans boiling is that Joy which you refer to "spiritual happiness" ,permanent state of existence in absence of judgment....and faculties which create judgment within a Mind. Joy does not have its opposite and representing state where extremes does not exist either. No stress. That is maximum explanation would be presented, border line, beyond which language is useless, for that state cannot be embraced by linear logic, only experienced individually. Required leap of Faith to that which cannot be known as "knowledge". There is no conflict between of state happiness/unhappiness and state of Joy. Two exist in different dimensions.with one way of access. Joy may embrace dualism , dualism has no access into wholeness.
