Because he was too scared off being atakted from behind by khali who is rumerd to be unhappy at not being conciderd as a worthy contender for top of the brand gold. and if the hole he came from was in the middle of the ramp it would disrupt the poles and be dangeruse

He'll be popping up all over the place until Wrestlemania. He'll hold back on saying which belt he's going for until the very last minute. Heck, it wouldn't surprise me if he pops up on ECW tonight and waylays Test and Lashley just for the heck of it.
