'Trying to pull me' - this is slang and is used when a guy is trying to become friendly with a gal, usually with sexual intentions.
'Don't push to hard' Not slang, unless it has a meaning I'm not aware of. It means what it says. Tell me the context and I may be able to help further.

To "pull" someone is when you go out to a club or bar without a partner and come back with one. Then you have "pulled". And yes it is slang but in common usage.
