Are you kidding? Yes, it is! Doctors will always tell you to quit smoking. It can have so many affects on your baby. One being low birth weight. Another having a premature baby. And another is them having asthma. If you're pregnant and want a healthy baby, do not smoke. Yeah, it may feel good for you, but what about that baby? It's unfair to them. Good luck on quitting!

YES! it can cause all sorts of problems before and after the baby is born...like the baby will be at greater risk of SIDS! but there is a direct link to smoking and premature delivery and low birth weight babies...meaning hospitalization for the baby...not a happy thing to go through! not to mention, babies can develop addictions even in the womb! it has been shown that with recreational drugs, and even some prescription drugs and even caffeine! i think tobbacco could have an ill effect on that too!

What is a troll?
A `troll' is an individual who enjoys creating conflict on the internet. He or she creates and fuels arguments which upset other members of the online community.
Trolls thrive in the anonymous space that is the internet. Trolls crave attention from others, and they don't care whether the attention is positive or negative. For trolls, other users are not quite real people; they are abstract characters on the other side of a computer screen. Trolls don't feel bad about hurting the feelings of other people in the digital space.

Trolls view chat rooms and newsgroups as a challenge where the winner is the user who creates the biggest argument, the user who upsets the most people in the most dramatic way. A troll wants to be the user getting the most attention.

Troll behavior discourages many users and makes for a less vibrant online community. New users may not post because they fear ridicule. Established posters may leave an online community because the noise has overwhelmed the real discussion. Trolls can make an entire community paranoid, leading users to become negative or to accuse a user engaged in normal criticism as a troll.

Of course it is. You shouldn't put those toxins in that baby's body. You have a choice to smoke, that baby doesn't. Be an adult here and try to quit for the sake of that baby. You are the one who will determine if you will be the cause of medical problems down the road for that baby. THINK!!!!

Of course it is. It increases the chance of prematurity and low birth weight but the worst consequence is that these babies frequently have learning difficulties. So they may appear to be born "healthy" but then a few years later they are ADHD and delayed readers etc...so you are forever altering the baby's capacity to be normal and learn at a normal rate. The earlier you stop - the less effect it has on the baby.

I smoke. I smoked when I was pregnant with my daughter 4 years ago. Nothing bad happened. She was born on her due date, at 8 lbs., 3 oz. Smoking won't complicate your pregnancy at all. It might cause your baby to have a low birth weight, but there really isn't anything else that can happen that is caused solely by smoking. There are a lot of things that people like to think are caused by smoking, but they haven't been proven in a medical case.
