I have 10 sanctioned perfect games, bowled in PBA tournaments and ABC sanctioned leagues. My other 300's which number seven, were either in practice or on rejected lane conditions.
Regarding top bowlers with most 300 games, I would have to say that only one name comes to mind, and that is Bob Learn Jr. from Erie, PA. Last time he bowled on TV, the commentators said that he was already in the 60+ range for perfect games bowled back in 1996. Lord knows how many he has now!

I was once a member of the PBA as a youngster at 17 I thought at the time I was pretty good I average 218 in league play and did roll one perfect game in which I ended up with a 783 total for 3 games. I did roll another in a pot game. I'm not to sure who has the most 300's but I would bet Buddy Bomar, Don Carter, Billy Weilu would be among those look in the Bowling Congress Hall of Fame you should find out. Just for the record I did not fair to well in the pros's stopped after a couple of years it was fun then bur NO LIVING. Oh By The Way I/m 65 yrs old and love the game. That particular statistic does not appear to be listed there.
Walter Ray Williams, Jr. holds the record for the most 300 games in any given tournament.

My highest was around 240 a few years back. The reason it is so difficult to get in the upper 200s is that if you miss just one pin, you might end up with a score in the 260s.

Closest I ever got was 262 but that was playing 9 Pin No Tap
