Regarding my Mii on the Wii consol?

Ok so I just got my Wii last night. And I created a Mii. I want to meet other people and I do have my WiiConnect24 on. Now it says I have to register my Wii, I looked at the adress book and say my consol number, when i tried to register I used that number, but it said I can't register that number. What am I doing wrong, i just want to meet other Mii's.

Please understand that im able to do everything else in the Wii, check weather, shop, so on, but not register my Wii consol.

Another question is, how do I get Wii numbers?

you have to get other peoples wii numbers in order to get other miis onto your system. you have to add them and they have to add you or it wont work. once you get that going your mii parade will begin to fill up if you have it set to travel. just find people with wiis and exchange numbers

For the mii, u might desire to have a wii to create a million. that could be a sprint slot on the Wii menu and u create a great number of miis on there. A nintendo account isnt mandatory to create a mii. yet u can create a nintendo account to get prizes on the wii save channel

I think the "Register" you're looking at is where you register another person's Wii number. Get a Wii number from someone else and try entering it there. They have to do the same in order to be able to send messages and such.

Perhaps your connection isn't working properly or you got a hot system or else call Nintendo with your inquiry.

dammit i have the same problem... i eventually gave up on that, i've had my system since launch and i can't figure it out
