I've always heard it was great for stretch marks and now they have a skin-so-soft cream specifically for stretch marks.

I've heard that Skin So Soft is good for stretch marks -- I use Pure Romance's "Save My Skin" and that seems to be doing the trick well too.

I used Palmers Cocoa Butter Massage Stretch Cream during my entire pregancy. It did help to reducte the # of stretch marks I received. my sister used vitamin e oil after pregnancy. the scars are pretty much gone except the HUGE one that has mostly disappeared, she even has a tan and you cant see it. Mederma is supposed to be good. I have seen both good and not so good results. It is expensive so I would try Palmers or vitamin e 1st.

I honestly believe stretch marks are hereditary if your mom had them it is very likely you will to My mom did not and neither did I. I used cocoa butter like crazy mostly cause my tummy was so itchy but I do not think there is any miracle lotion that will stop stretch marks from coming.

Yes I have heard of that, but the best thing for stretch marks is pure cocoa butter. It works every time.

No, never heard of using that for stretch marks. I used Neutrogena Rain Bath... that was awesome, and smelled so light and nice.

It's probably mostly genetic and NOT the product, though I'm sure it helped to a degree. Plus, it smells AWFUL (IMO...I tried using it as mosquito repellent on my kid and practically gagged!). I used St. Ives Vitamin E cream w/collagen and did not get ONE stretch mark! And it smelled nice, too!

Unfortunately, stretch marks are genetic and develop in the deeper layers of skin. No lotion can prevent them. You and your girls are VERY lucky you didn't get any. I'm jelous ; )
