What dance have you done that you think back to with embarassment?

While I have done the Bump (as a really young kid), the Electric Slide and the Macarana with pride and even learned a little two-stepping...I hate to admit I Vogued!

I had been a trained dancer for several years. I no longer dance ballet, so I've learned to stay well away from anything all that embarassing...sort of.
I still dance with a troupe of sorts. Old English Country Dance...if you can imagine that!!
But I dare you to try dancing in a full Elizabethan hoop and three skirts! Not to mention a tighter than a vise corset...with METAL boning!

{hey, not only can women do everything the men can do...but we do it in HEELS and BACKWARDS!! }

Um... I don't really dance, I sort of... trip accross the dancefloor, clutching to my partner for dear life. I'm what they would call grace-less.

At my homecoming, I was wearing a long dark green dress, I was wearing make-up with mascara (something I'm rather inept at, but had actually managed to put it on right for the first time), my purple hair was curled elegantly (dyed it myself, salon did the rest), and i was wearing barly bearable high heels, and my boyfrend at the time was looked great. The moment the first dance starts (it was rather fast paced), my bf grabbed me and pulled me out to the dance floor and I ended up accidentally pushing him into another couple, which fell over onto another, and domino effect ensued. So, I ended up retreating with my bf before anyone figured out it was us who started it.

We came back and didn't try to dance again until there was a waltz, which i figured would be safer, right? Well, not only did I step on his feet a dozen times, but I ended up taking a step back, my foot caught on my dress, falling over backwards onto this guy with a drink, and the drink spilled all over me.

It was a joy, and I still look back on it with cringing laughter.
