Audioslave is a rock supergroup consisting of Chris Cornell (former frontman of Soundgarden) and the former instrumentalists of Rage Against the Machine, Tom Morello (guitar), Tim Commerford (bass), and Brad Wilk (drums).
Flylear vocalist Lacey Mosley tried out a string of dark, hard edged songs she consistently wrote as a brooding teenager with drummer James Culpepper. Later, guitarists Jared Hartmann and Sameer Bhattacharya were recruited. In 2005, the band recorded their first full-length album with Howard Benson. On October 4, 2005, the record was released under the title Flyleaf.
