My wife and I are going to act out a fantasy of hers. It involves me being a burglar and pretending to break in. She wants me to bind ang gag her with duct tape, then we do the deed. Is this "simulated rape" fantasy common amongst women? Have any of you experianced this?

Yes it is common, lots of women have the fantasy of being manhandled or having sex with a stranger. Its not that big of a deal. If it got too real, she will probably be turned off or weirded out, so its not like we really want to be raped, its just to be handled in a forceful way, in a safe environment, being blindfolded and imaging that some strange man was so turned on by you he had to come in and take you, its all in good fun. But I wouldn't recommend duct tape, that is going to hurt coming off of her mouth and pull out all of her eyelashes, use scarves or neck ties. Me and my BF do stuff like this all the time, and I giggle the whole time, b/c its naughty and fun and you're not hurting anyone. Also, you might want to think of a safe word so that if things get uncomfortable for her, she can say the word and you stop, b/c the thing with these kind of fantasies is that you say no, no all the time, so you need the safe word to know that she is being serious and not just playing along.

Being dominated is a VERY common fantasy. However I have read that though women fantasize about it, they find it different when it actually happens. Women find it too much like rape, though they're the ones that "asked" for it. The article I read said you should have a CODE word to tell your partner to "stop." (Because if the fantasy is to be "raped" and the woman is yelling "no, stop, no..." the man might think it's part of the role-playing). The code word should be something totally unrelated (like "blue" or "pen"). Just what I've read...

Don't think it's strange, have heard and read about this often.

On another note, do you think putting "adult content. No Young ones" in the actual question is creating more of a curiosity factor for the ones you're trying to keep from reading this question? I applaud the effort, but....

Yes its very common, but i suggest to u that u both agree on a "code " word, something that would be off the wall word that cant be mistaken for anything but what it is.. like the word "yellow" .. because if u get to rough with her, she could be saying stop or something and u think that she's just going along with the fantasy.. so have a code word set up that if she feels uncomfortable or if anything is to rough u'll know ... other then that, yep very common and have fun..

Btw.. its not the "rape" so much as being put in a submissive situation, no woman actually "wants" to be raped by a real rapist..but your her husband so she feels safe with u, so its more of a act of being put in a submissive situation, she wants u to be in control and her to have to submit..

Yes it is common and a lot of fun! Just be sure to have a "safe" word in case it goes too far for either of you and otherwise enjoy it. Suprisingly this fantasy and many others helps release a lot of inhibitions that people (especially women) have and allows for a more intense, passionate and trusting relationship. Great for an occasional spice up if things are lacking or slacking in the bedroom. Have fun :)

Any fantasy or role playing situation is a good, fun thing to do. Sex should be fun; not just romantic.

Be careful with the duct tape. Make SURE she can breathe.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Make sure going into this scenario that your wife has a "safe sign." In BDSM, its called a "safe word," but that assumes that the subject can actually TALK and be heard. The "safe sign" would be a signal that she's in trouble or freaking out, or just not having fun with it for some reason and wants to STOP.

You must do this.

Make sure that she can actually GIVE you the "safe sign."

Otherwise, have fun.........

Yes, i've heard it's a very common fantasy (maybe even the most common?) However many women will deny it or never talk about it. I find thinking about about it stimulating but it doesn't mean i want it done to me for real hence the wording "fantasy". Good for both of you if you want to go ahead with it though. Have fun!

I actually had a friend who did a research paper in college on women's sexual fantasies and found the "rape" fantasy to be common. The difference is she is in control and it is SIMULATED not the real thing. No woman really wants to be raped, but society teaches us that we are not supposed to like or enjoy sex so to be controlled and to have sex forced on us can be the answer in fantasy. We then get what we want but don't have to be the one to ask for it.

You're married and both consenting adults. Sex was created especially for you (tho I'm now single again and hardly believe it should be denied to me either). So enjoy each other. I think it's great that you are willing to indulge your wife. And remember - paybacks are heaven.

It is common for a man and/or a woman to act out such fantasies. Some people don't agree to it, or admit to it, but it is very common and no need to be frowned upon. If she is comfortable enough to be this way with you and trust you, then there is nothing wrong with it. Many people have different things that they fanasize about. It can be fun when two people are into it. If your not sharing the same feelings though, talk to her about it.

It is surprisingly common and although a lot of women still keep quiet about it, it is becoming more accepted through modern society. One in ten women have had similar fantasies, although not all of them are lucky enough to have a partner willing to explore them with her. If you discover you like playing out this fantasy, try some experimenting with other ideas you or her might have. They can really open you eyes to new concepts. Make sure niether of you are uncomfortable about what you are doing, and enjoy yourselves! Have fun ;)
