I have just gotten home from a holiday to find i have been broken into and had my moped stolen (amongst other things). To make things worse i have found out a neighbour who i have previously got along with had told the bstards i was away and which house i live in. I now know who these thieving smackheads are and that they sold my moped for £20 this morning. I havent called the police because it happened 1 day after i left and im a singlemum who doesnt want my windows putting through for doing so..... but i have some friends who are willing to beat them up. Should i just leave it or let them have retribution?

only got moped 4 days before went away was waiting for insurance before i could use it so it was locked up, so no recompence for it....typical!

That is so not on,theivin bastards,the law will only do a half a88ed job of looking into it,so sorry for you,, But I do hope if your freinds are willing to sort them out tell them they have my blessing but do it discretely.you know what I mean!! p.s your neighbours are c**ts for giving them the info. May their next crap be a roll of barbed wire and they've got constipation.

Well to abide by the law you need to report to athorities and if you have insurance make a report, if not, pray that the police find it and return to you or write it off as a loss. Not abiding by law... have your friends beat them up and tell who bought the mophead and go after them threatening to return it or you will turn them into the police for buying stolen property. Just beating them up won't get your property back (unforturnately). Good luck

Do make certain that you target the right people. Leave it a while and then they won't suspect you but there has to be retribution. I am afraid the police are not so efficient these days so unless it is for insurance I wouldn't bother with them

i worry about these problems my self, because we have alot of crank zombies in are area. there so messed up on meth. that they will do anything. build some traps, you can build home made traps. i no it sounds nuts but its your home and you have to protect it, youse your amagination, if you cant think of any thing go to your local army/ navy surplus store. some times they have books on booby traps like they used in combat, and there all improvised out of things you can find around town. the degree of effect is up to you, i think i would prefer to use a human trap that would only mame someone, and thats eazy enough, try to aquire old bear traps, regular leg hold traps and weld nails to them. try to make some punji sticks, i am sure you can find some nails around the house. i listed these sugjesttions first because they are cheaper than puting bars over your windows, and doors. i would call the police and make a report i dout they will do any thing but its something let them no you are afraid of being harast, and to keep it low key. maybe try to form a nieborhood watch program, they have been known to be very efective in other troubled neiborhoods, because people that are in the watch group are allways watching observing, reporting, maybe even taking pictures, licence plates, etc... i would not have any one beat up i have seen alot of fights turn into very bad situations unless you can get them on your property and be able to prove they were going to do you harm . well good luck to you.

Firstly yes, secondly wait for your neighbour to go on holiday and give the robbers a few hints and send them to your neighbours house. Then get them beaten up.

Have them arrested (you might get your moped back) and then use your friends to warn the burglers that if they upset you again they will jump up and down on their heads.

Do you not have insurance, you will have to inform the law for a crime number, as for retribution, leave it be you will probably come off worse.
