Yes, especially if you just around the date of when you period is due. Have a blood test done - they are more sensitive. Most women get a positve urine test as soon as they miss the period...but I have heard others say it took them a week or 2 to get a positive on the home test.

It depends on WHEN you take the home pregnancy test. "Pee" tests measure HGH (human growth hormone) levels in your urine, but HGH levels typically are not high enough to show up until a week or so beyond your first missed period.
If you rush out and buy a test right after sex, but before you've missed your period, yes, it is possible to be pregnant but have a negative test result...which is why the box usually has two tests. Wait till one week past your period and take the second test.
Remember, home pregnancy tests are 97% accurate, which means 3 women out of 100 will get a false result. If you are really worried, go to a gynecologist and request a blood test.
Good luck to you!

I am. I took 18 HPT and all were negative. I am currently 23 weeks along and I was pregnant when I took all the tests. I would suggest a blood test. Good luck

How long has it been since you missed your period? You could still be pregnant, or you may just need to wait a few more days before taking another test.

It's possible that you aren't far enough along for the HCG to register in the pregnancy test. A blood test could more accurately tell you.

Yes, if you're right around the time of your missed period (and especially before) so give yourself a few more days and try again. If you're several weeks passed your missed period - you're probably not pregnant.
