Maybe you need a faster internet connection speed....just wait for the whole movie to load first by pressing Pause before you watch the movie....

An easy way to try to stop the freezing is to right-click on the video and go to quality or setting and press low quality if that doesnt work you may need to get a new processor. I have to ask are you using dial-up or high-speed. If its dial-up you will continue having this problem most likley. If its high-speed you shouldnt have this problem with a better processor. I would also check for adware and defrag the computer as this may be slowing it down. Oh ya and wait for it to load compleatly because if the video isnt loaded completly it may stop and wait until its finished but i'm assuming you know that. Note: another way but it takes time is to download the video and watch with your computer not on the internet.

if they freeze for a few secs it's because you have a slow internet connection.
you could download them first, and play them from your computer, it takes a while to download them, but you can watch them without interruptions after that

what you have to do is copy the url of the video, go to this website
http://keepvid.com/
paste the url and click download

to play files from YouTube you also have to install this player
http://www.simtel.net/product.download.mirrors.php?id=95201
(click "on Worldwide Content Distribution Network", save the file on your computer and install the program)

hope it helps
