Leaving me...we've got a son who ADORES him. I'd never want my son to not have his dad.
Plus, I know that no matter what, I'll always love him and I'd never want him dead no matter how bad he pissed me off.

Death~~~Yes, I could. With no possibility of getting back together, I would chose death. I have bee married for 54 years to my husband and my favorite line has been that" I don't want to live one day longer then he does". I would not chose to live without him at my age if he stopped loving me unless there where a medical reason. We are happy and I am blessed not to have that choice to make. Praise God !!!!
I see I miss read the question. I would never wish my Husband dead. I would rather he would leave me. (as if he could) ha ha

If I had to choose between my husband dying and just up and leaving me, I'd have to say I'd rather that he die, and here's why:
If he and I split up, and I had to see him with another woman, and knowing what kind of man he is, and how he is in all aspects of a relationship, it would kill me to know that she is receiving all that I had, and should still have. It's not something I want to see, or have any knowledge about. Even if I didn't see him on a regular basis, just knowing that another woman is in his airspace bothers me; that's why it would be better if he were dead.
Hope this helps in your psych class, I hope you get an A+.

I think I would choose to die because if I lost him, I would feel like I was dying anyway. Now, if you're talking about losing him in a relationship, then I would still want to live because I know he and I would still be friends, but if you mean losing him as in dying, I would want to die right along with him. We already have said that we want to die at the same time. So, this is a tough one.

As broken as id would be after, id have to say id rather him leave me, then to die, although my soul would feel dead after he left, but i have 3 kids that depend on me.
Plus if u really look into the question ur asking.. u lose out either way, if u choose death, ur still not with ur significant other.. and if they leave u , ur still not with them, so either way its a lose lose situation.. so id rather live..and be with my kids.. they come before anyone else..

Umm i think i would rather him leave me... its easier then having to leave him because u have to make that deep decision.... These two things are quite similiar actually... he leaves u.. u never see him again expecially if its on bad terms... if he dies u never see him again... or if you die ur fuked either way so i think i would pic leaving because i dont want anyone to die.... and if he was leaving on bad terms and i hated him then i still would choose him leaving me because i would want him to keep living his miserable life instead of taking the easy way out!

I would prefer leaving cause I know no matter what I'll always love him and I would want him to be happy again one day even if it doesn't include me. Though I am also about to cry just thinking about both scenerios as well.

i would rather they leave then to die i could not bear the thought of never seeing my better half again and that would happen if they died. It would be a hard choice because either way i would die without ever seeing my better half again.

I think I would choose dying because that way at least I would know that they had to go . In leaving they made that choice and they dont want to be with you any more . good luck with your class.

I d rather him leave then die bc then i could always call go out to lunch i still could at least be friends with him if he left. My kids would still be able to see their daddy anytime they wanted. If i did have to choose between death and leaving it would have to be leaving me.

YEP, life is way too short to be concerned about someone else's life. You have your own to worry about. Leaving is dying in one form of the sense cause once they've left, they are dead to you. I chose to live my life but I'll protect my love at all cost and if she leaves then it must be fate.
