just a suggestion - if you want people to pronounce Cheyne correctly when they read it, you are going to have to go with a more traditional spelling (like Shayne or Shane). I read the girl names and thought it was Cheyenne (as in wyoming) until i read the last line of the girl names... sorry! i am a little dyslexic, and didn't realize there were letters missing.

Unique is great, but not if she will have to spend the rest of her life correcting people that say or spell it wrong. i don't have an overly unique name, but i do have a unique spelling and constantly have to correct people and paperwork - it's annoying.

Otherwise, Hannah Cheyne out of the girl names (serious first name, fun middle name she can use later) and I would use Nathaniel Chance for a boy name (same deal, serious name first, fun middle name). That way, when she/he is president of the united states, they have a name befitting the office. :)

Have I been on another planet and missed the spelling of Shane with a "ch"? I was saying Chain the entire time I was reading the list and then before I read the last one thought it must mean Cheyenne. Then wondered if you were meaning for it to say Shine like the beginning sound of Cheyenne...

I prefer Shane for a boy but it could be used for a girl too. I do not like the spelling at all. How about Shayna? Cute and not overly used at all.

My vote does goes for Hannah Cheyne though.

I do like Chance a lot. I vote for Chance Tyler. My little boy is named Chase Tyler so it is very similiar!

Oh, and my name is Shaye so VERY similiar to Shane! :)

I like all your middle names for girls and I like the idea of Cheyne for a middle name. Larissa Cheyne and Melina Cheyne sound nice but aren't too common. Hannah and Alyssa are common (but I love them anyway.) You could also use Cheyanne and nickname Cheyne. My friend did that.

For the boys I like Tyler Chance better than the other way around. It seems to flow better.
