this has happened twice and i made windows configure it how can i stop this and make it automaticly configure (also i have just added xbox live to the connection, would this be the cause?

you have to enable your wireless zero config if you are on wireless connection
// click run > type services.msc > ok > sdouble click on wireless zero config > start up type, select automatic & service status is started > ok
// go to network connection // wireless network connection > right click > select properties > click wireless network tab > check the box for use windows to configure connection
// if these will not work uninstall the client utility or utility manager for your wireless device

use the network connection wizard to configure it the way you want
click on start control panel and click on network connection and follow the on screen instruction.Good luck

Get rid of that junk hub and buy a router for starts!
