What do you think is doing too much?

I am writing a story about a pair of celebrity parents and theor nine year old daughter, the wife is doing way too much. One day the dad leaves the girl at the studio , he doesnt just leave to another floor he leaves the building. She called her mother and when she gets home the mother calls the father and he answers while having sex with another girl.

What else would be doing too much?

I would divorce if I found out that my husband had sex with someone else. I woudln't give him another chance. As far as I'm concerned if he cheats on me, then he's broken our marriage vows and made our marriage void, so all that's left to do is det unmarried legally. It would make me very sad though but there would be no other choice.

Actually stories do have to be believable. It allows a suspension of the reader's disbelieve. I think that you maybe doing a bit much with this story. The premiss seems good (one parent doing too much), but the rest seems overly dramatic. Try clipping the wings a bit and see if the story will finish itself.

He should be having sex with another guy...and be doing some drugs.

What guy really answers the phone in the middle of sex...let alone sex while cheating when he sees it's his wife on caller ID??? Not very realistic....
