Spiting works, just don't touch the inside after you rinse them out. It's only temporary though. If you plan on going long distances, try my next idea.

You can get an anti-fog spray, they do work. My team used to buy a bottle in the beginnning of the season and treat all of our goggles. It would last past the end of the season. But the trick is never to touch the inside of your goggles.

i've got heard saliva works decently nicely although that is in no way carried out something for me (no longer shifting into the complicated (bio)chemistry in touch here). i've got used the D-Fog answer with some fulfillment although that is in no way particularly labored that nicely for me. yet i might additionally want to point out that once you're a aggressive swimmer and your goggles are the two fogging up and are letting occassional-to-continual water leak in that is time for brand spanking new goggles. there is not any longer in basic terms a chemical that goggle agencies put in them to lead them to no longer fog up however the strap might additionally be tighter seeing how the goggles are form-new and have in no way been used until now. that is why they say which you're able to purchase new goggles with the exchange of seasons provided that that is often the main quantity of time goggles will final you for.

you have 2 options.

1. spit in it, wipe it around the lens of the goggles then rinse it.

2. get anti-fog spray/drops - they're slightly expensive though.

another option which works for a mask (diving/snorkelling) is to use a bit of toothpaste. it might be a little too strong for swimming goggles though.

Divers tend to swill their goggles in the water before they put them on, that has been known to stop them from steaming up, so try that next time you go swimming.

It sounds gross but it works;

Spit in them, wipe it around with your finger, rinse it out, spit in them once more, wipe it around, and then rinse them out and don't touch the inside again.

You can also keep a little bit of water in them and then just shake your head around to wash off the fog when they cloud up.

Or you can buy the no-fog drops, but they are really kind of expensive. Don't believe the goggles that say "anti-fog"--they don't work.

buy anti fog drop. They work really well, and they're only about 3 dollars. True, the bottle is really small, but I've been using my for about a year or so, and I still have some left. Just don't use it every day. You don't have to anyway.
