I'm not quite sure how but from what I know, bees get a sweet fluid called nectar from flowers and use it for honey. Surprisingly, honey is actually bee vomit. They throw up and that's practically honey.

I think it takes about a hundred bees to get a teaspoon of honey. I'm not quite sure with the figure.

they suck up nectar from the flower,then they barf it up into a honeycomb, where it starts drying-up and becomes more like honey, and less likr nectar
