My mate got a horrid t-shirt for xmas and he is begging for symathy-but he ain't getting it-so he said his cousin died. \now people are feeling sorry for him because he's so upset but we think hes lying!

ask his mum or other relative the next time you visit him then you will find out the truth, if he is lying then he is a sick person because there is some things in life that you just don`t do and that is one of them

T-Shirt? What? Your question doesn't make sense, why would someone make up a death because of a t-shirt? Why would someone beg for sympathy because of getting a t-shirt?
If you want to find out if they are telling the truth, try reading the local newspaper classifieds, or better still the local register of births, marriages and deaths, assuming you know the name you are looking for and where the death would have been registered.
If it turns out that your question does make sense, and they are lying, then I would suggest that the individual involved seek help for their mental health problem

Why would he be wanting sympathy because of a bad t-shirt ??
If you think he is lying then you should call his mom or dad and tell them how sorry you are for their loss . If they ask what on earth you are talking about then you will know he is lying.

Somebody told me to know if someone is lying to you, look in his eyes. People generally avoid eye contact while lying. Its human they roll their eyes within the eye socket or may even turn their head side ways.

Don't feel sorry for him, believe he needs some TLC for whatever reason. If you give that then he'll tell you if he lied.
