I live in Paris and was running late for work on the first of the month so I had to jump the barrier to get the metro.

On the other side of the barrier was the train and a wall of ticket collectors.

Rather than queuing up for a fine I dodged through the line of controllers and hopped on the train. A very large, athletic ticket collector literally jumped through the door on top of me and screwed up my brand new christmas suit as he slammed me against the inside wall of the carriage and began shouting at me in French - as I tried to move away from him he aggressively grabbed me by the shoulder so I dropped him like a sack of spuds and held him on the ground until my stop - 4 stops away.

Nobody did anything. I wasn't hurting the guy, he attacked me. When my stop arrived I stepped off the train just as the doors were closing and blew him a kiss. He was furious.

Today.

I work for a shipping company and in order to have things expedited through customs we need to record the number on a valid piece of Photo ID, either a passport or Drivers license.

Today I had a gentlemen scream at me and claim I was violating his right by asking to record a divers license number. HE claimed I was racially profiling him. Even after it was explained to him by the head office that this was standard procedure he was still very upset and refused the information, so I had to refuse the shipment.

He left the store screaming obscenities at me and proceeded to scream about how we were a bigoted organization in the parking lot.

i'm sorry to take heed to of your difficulty. maximum Housing institutions have 'void' (which skill empty) assets coverage the place that assets is 'made sturdy' until eventually now the subsequent tenant strikes in. in keeping with risk your difficulty grew to become into so dire that your HA did no longer have time to undertake the voids artwork. you fairly have an prolonged record of remarkable works which they ought to honour. evidently out of your positioned up which you have already got criminal representation. All HA have a failure to repair coverage which might entitle you to a pair repayment. additionally a lawsuits technique which ought to be long previous by using so ensure you have made a ideal grievance to them in writing (ideally) and, if no longer happy by skill of the replies, increase it to the subsequent point and those after until eventually you get to the folk who rather effect action. you may increase it to the degree the place a panel assembly of senior directors and your self meet to communicate the subject concerns. you're additionally entitled to have yet another man or woman of your option to be there with you. the only belated theory i might upload is, have they made appointments to do the works which you have benn no longer able to maintain? in the event that they have made appointments that they did no longer attend it is greater gas on your fireplace.

Here we go again. No one 'makes' anyone become upset it is in their character to take things personally or literally-but, I did have a couple occasions with bosses (one was a ?recovering alcoholic) who thought they could scream at me. Nowadays the law has you covered no one can create a hostile work enviornment. If that had been in effect back then I'd be a wealthy woman. Sexual harassment related only to opposite sexes. If someone knows your 'buttons' and pushes them at will you can do one of two things get into a roaring arguement or ignore them and consider the source.

I have to say, last Friday someone got unreasonably upset at me, but I did not make them act that way. They chose to make a complete boob out of their self.
I kept trying to calm that person by agreeing to disagree, but they kept loudly insisting I come to their way of thinking......jeeze

OMG. Just last week! My girlfriend sent me some stupid e-mail that was completely bogus. I sent her back a link to the urban legend website, snopes.com and suggested she check this stuff out b4 sending it out. I guess I made her mad, and maybe I came on a little strong, but she went BALLISTIC. She sent me the nastiest e-mail! It really upset me that she got so serious, and she really hurt my feelings.
