I got my tubes tied after babys 4 and 5(twins), i get pregnant very easy. Well i have extrmley hevy bleeding which i researched and that is normal, well this time around, i only bled heavy for 1 day and only had a constant bleeding of 3 days. And now i am spotting as you would call it, off and on bleeding, but not heavy. so i took a pregnancy test that i had stashed, and 2 lines came up but i couldnt remember what the results were supposed to be, it was either 2 lines is a positive one line is neg or 1 line and a positive sign in the other window was positive or neg line and one line was neg, so pretty much i need to take another one! but me and b/f keep arguing about it. i thought you couldnt acctually have a baby after getting your tubes tied, i though only a tubal pregnancy, he says yes you can have a baby. which is it? yes i am going to get another test and if it comes out + then im going to the doc. but can i acctually have a baby after getting my tubes tied or just a tubal?

ok also im only 22 so im not old to be having issues, and the pregnancy test was only 4 weeks old. oh and the line that showed up was very faint.

yes, it can happen and does....so you can get pregnant there is still that slightiest chance......2 lines in one window i would think its postive, that is how my test was.same as men when they get fixed, I already had a 11yr old and my husband had a 13 and 17 so we really didnt think much about it, then I started getting sick and Dr couldnt find anything wrong, so he said lets just do a blood check and check everything. So I get a phone call and Nurse said I was positve.....First thought POSITIVE for WHAT? I was thinking oh no I have some alful thing....said I was pregnant....what a thrill so happy we was all surprized and now we have a very beautiful baby boy who is awsome ! so never know wish you the best!

You most definately can be pregnant. It doesn't happen often, but the tubes have a natural tendency to heal and find new ways to connect themselves. This is how powerful the human body is and the human drive for procreation. Ultimately abstinence is the only way to guarantee that pregnancy will not occur. The body itself will work against, and sometimes win against, every other method. This includes condoms, the pill, vasectomy, tubal ligation and anything else.

In all pregnancy tests there are two windows. One is the control window, it has one line, it tells you there is urine present and you took the test right. The second window is the test window. One line is negative, two lines is positive. Yes you can get pregnant after a tubal whatever.... female and male sterilization isn't 100% and the failure rate is low.. but still there.

Depending on what method they used to close your tubes, it can and has reversed itself. Two lines on any pregnancy test i have ever seen means yes you are pregnant. Usually the clamp method (which i dont recommend) has the highest failure rate of any sterilization method. Cut and sauder works the best. So yes i would go to your doctor and have all this checked out.

well it can happen. take another test and if it says yes call you doctor right away because there is a good chance that it could be tubal

You can get pregnant, but this is EXTREMELY rare. You probably have something else going on, especially if you are in your late 30's or early 40's.

buy a new test and take it. if tha test you used was old it could give a false positive. i dont think you are pregnant but anything is possible
