If my wife saved her money and bought me such an expensive gift ,I would shower here with hugs and kisses.. I also would want to take her out, to celebrate. I would want to show her how much I love her too..
on the other hand, if she bought it, told me; I had to pay for it, I wouldn't be so thrilled.. I would be depressed...I am not rich. To make those type of payments, without owing the banks, means working a lot of hours..You can't enjoy much if you are exhausted or stressed out due to to many bills.

My husband would LOOOOVE me if I got this for him, but it wouldn't fit in our bedroom. I would suggest that you take him to the store and have him pick out the one he wants, whatever style, dimensions, features, etc., and you pay for it. Make him a great dinner, and leave him alone with his new toy for a while.

My husband would hate it because he is so specific with what he wants...if it wasn't the correct kind of tv that he wanted he would kill me for spending that money on a crap tv. I'm not saying its a crap tv...but if it didn't have all the specs that my husband wanted, he would not be very happy with me. I would involve him when buying electronics.
