I myself am a capitalistic person and firmly believe that the U.S. would not have become the "only superpower on earth" had our founding fathers decided that hey, lets establish a socialistic form of government. This great experiment in both democracy and capitalism is the real deal... but don't forget about the "new deal" as well. We can enjoy a bit of both and that's good for the environment, the arts and many other things we enjoy as a free society. Think about it. Would any of us really want to have only one political party?

We are a hardworking upper middle class family and we vote democratic. Only anal, holier than thou, pompous jackasses with a superiority complex would make such a racist, sweeping statement.....Similar to the question: Why do all republicans support murder?
When are the American people going to get past the conservative/liberal bs and comprehend that WE are all Americans? That we need to work together to resolve important matters because if we don't do it we are just weaker and more vulnerable in the long run to other countries/terrorist who love the fact that we are divided by hate and finger pointing? We have issues as Americans that need fixed. Save the name calling for the playgrounds and act like a respectable, mature.....PROUD American.

i do no longer understand what your factor is as very almost all states and the District of Columbia limit inmates from balloting together as incarcerated for a criminal. the only exceptions are Maine and Vermont. as nicely, 35 states do no longer enable felons to vote together as they're on parole and 30 deny this good to felons that are on probation. the only exceptions are Maine and Vermont. as an instance, in Maine, somebody who's incarcerated might stick to to sign in to vote the place they the two had or intend to stay. All states , different than Kentucky and Virginia, enable convicted felons to vote whilst they have efficiently served sentences surpassed out by using the courts.now and lower back this technique is computerized and now and lower back states require felons to reapply for the privilege to vote in elections. In precis, with the exceptions stated above, maximum convicted felons are denied the wonderful to vote together as incarcerated, on parole or on probation.

Speaking as a hard-working, responsible smart person, I refute your premise.
And could you give us some evidence of your statement?

the lower class (or dregs, as you so elegantly put it) dont vote republican because they know the GOP doesnt give a rats *** about them. democrats want to help everybody in our nation, instead of the top 10%.
