Go to a professional. If you do it yourself, they will LOOK AWFUL. Trust me.

The salon can soak them off for you but if you would rather do it yourself put the acetone into a bowl and soak you nails in it for around 40 mins to melt the acrylic. Every 10 mins take a wooden cuticle stick and scrape off the layers, it will take a few tries before it becomes thin enough to file away the rest. Try and put a nail oil on afterwards as your nails will be really dehydrated! I work in a salon so hope this helps!!

put the acetone in a glass dish and soak your nails
in it, every minuet take them out and use cotton wool and wipe them over it will tack about 30 to 40 Min's to do but don't bite them of it will ruin your nails the acetone melts the nails and gel/acrylic don't spill the acetone as it will ruin anything it touches

My aunt does my nails for me and she dunks them in acetone for quite some time then uses like tissue/ cotton wool whatever. the rubs it off, dont chew it off it makes the nails more brittle and more likely to break.

you have to soak the nails in acetone, not just rub it on
