does that mean they are 'mentally challenged' or have a learning disability?

Here is an example:
Someone on this link (I won't specify who) has been told over and over that the "mission accomplished" sign, meant (as Bush even stated) the capture of Saddam. Bush clearly stated that there was a long and hard road ahead.

so if someone like this still goes around making the same comments and questions regarding "mission accomplished", would that mean they must be weak minded somehow, and does it prove how no matter what the facts are, liberals will blindly repeat their rhetorical lies?

parts of the quote prove my point:

"Today we have the greater power to free a nation by breaking a dangerous and aggressive regime."

"We have difficult work to do in Iraq. We're bringing order to parts of that country that remain dangerous."

THANKS FOR PROVING MY POINT WHILE BEING OBLIVIOUS TO IT.

I think you are mentally challenged, or have a learning disability if you prematurely fly a banner that says 'Mission Accomplished' when the mission, clearly, is not accomplished. This was a political stunt to get support and boost morale. If their only goal was to capture Saddam, well then the mission was accomplished and the problem was half-assed war planning on Bush / Rumsfeld / the army's part.

It's not that this person is mentally incompetent. It's his blind hatred towards Bush that keeps him from thinking rationally. We did accomplish our main mission in Iraq. And Bush did say it would be a long hard road. people seem to forget these things. even if you were to post a link that shows Bush saying this, people would still disagree. It's hopeless and they won't be happy till a Leftist democrat is in office and withdraws all of our troops from around the world and we get attacked again. Then they will ultimately find some way to still bag on Bush. The point is, none of this stuff that the lefties cry about really matters. It doesn't change our situation in Iraq. I'm just glad Bush has what it takes to go all the way with this conflict.

Um......Mission Accomplished was way before we captured Saddam. So yes, it is retarded when people don't know what the Mission Accomplished was for.

thousands upon thousands are dead in Iraq. Iran has gained a stranglehold upon the Country. Hundreds die every day. If thats mission accopmlished i would hate to think what it would have been like if it was mission failed

The Mission Accomplished Banner had nothing to do with the capture of Saddam. Ari Fleischer can make up all the lies he wants now about what it's original purpose was for but it had nothing to do with Saddam.

Some people can't hear you if you are not speaking their views (selective hearing) and I think that applies to the written language too. Facts mean nothing to people who know everything.
The victory of which Bush spoke was that Iraq was freed of it's tyrant ruler Saddam (he was forced from power). That did turn out to be correct.

Definitely a severe learning disability. Even the mentally challenged can learn basic skills and remember things if they are repeated often enough.

It's amazing that they are able to create the question with such a low learning ability.

the problem with that is Saddam was still on the loose when that sign was up. Get your facts straight before trying to make someone look like a fool. You have only made yourself look like one.

So when are you going to sign up for the Disaster in the Desert? Be sure to bring your own body bag; the Chickenhawks are running out of money to buy enough to fill the Surge.
