We pay extra for so called premium channels and maybe they sow two new movies a month and then they show it for the next year

I just cancelled my premium cable for this very reason. I miss some of the specials on HBO, but there are so few of those that it's not worth the money. I've also noticed that even the basic cable channels play reruns of the same shows over and over.

Bruce Springsteen was right a LONG time ago with his song: 57 channels and nothin' on (except now, there's 300 channels)

I was having the same problem. I canceled the channels and started renting movies more often from the local blockbuster. I helps a lot...

It's not going to stop. They've gotten over on us so far, so they will continue. I canceled mine 5 months ago and I haven't missed it at all. If everyone canceled, maybe they'd get the message.
