Don't know for sure if this is "your" answer but I had this happen to me. I had it every 2wks. I went to a Gyn. who scheduled a hysteroscopy. ( An examination of your uterus, ovaries, fallopian tubes, etc.) I had some fibroids that needed to be removed and since I was not interested having any more children he removed the lining of my uterus, which can be done now instead of having a hysterectomy. On average it helps for about 5 yrs. is what I was told. After it immediately helped by my periods not being so heavy and I went back to only once a month. It was a short surgury and I went home the same day. It's been 9 yrs. and I have just begun to get really heavy periods again but still just once a month. This may not be your problem. If you have some fibroids, sometimes having sex can cause some bleeding or they bleed on their own. It's not really serious but you definitly need to go see someone cause there are other things it could be also. Don't get yourself stressed out. Make an appt. and find out for sure. You'll be fine. Go to someone with a good rep. and they'll take good care of you. Good luck.

Sometimes when you are young, your period is not on a normal cycle, you can go months without having a period then have one every couple weeks. If the problem persists I would contact your doctor, but if not, don't worry.

You shouldn't have your period twice a month... go see your OBGYN. There's something wrong.

i don't think u should be too concerned. Probably hormonal changes if your on the pill. Or you may even consider being pregnant. Make a doctor's appointment to be sure.
