The City of Lost Children - hands down. I had nightmares for 3 consecutive nights after seeing it.

It's hard to know which was more disturbing: the nightmare santas, the suicidal brain in the jar, the narcoleptic henchmen, the siamese twins that were joined at the hip yet one could smoke a cigarette while the other puffed out the smoke...you get the idea.

Whoever wrote that needs a good therapist.

The Hills Have Eyes. That movie was so disturbing. Of course The Hills Have Eyes 2 will be coming out in March 2007. I'm sure it will be more gruesome than the first!

The worst movie I ever saw was the Fantasia Barino Story. The most disturbing was Hostel. Great movie but that was crazy.

I guess my take on what you mean by "disturbing" is different from everyone else. The two most disturbing movies to me are "Schindler's List" and "Hotel Rwanda". Both were very well done movies but disturbing to me because of the blind ignorance that perpetuates the violence.

You can't go wrong with The Exorcist. That really was a messed up - but good - movie.

Also, I watched a straight to video movie a long time ago called "Society" with Billy Warlock. I remember it being very disturbing.

Also "Event Horizon" creeped me out.

That would definately have to be House of 1,000 Corpses and The Devils Rejects, both movies have the same cast and are directed by Rob Zombie. These movies are sick and demented.

Pretty much any movie with Keven Costner, Hugh Grant, Sandra Bullock, or Ben Affleck (non-Kevin Smith movies).

That would be a toss up between Exorsist 111 and Omen 11
