I've started a houseplant collection of sorts. What are some of your favorites?

My absolute favorite is my rubber tree plant. It has grown in a few crazy directions. I also have a jade that I love. A corn plant that is beautiful. Ficus, porthos, and cactii.

I really like the rubber tree plant and the money tree. I have over 20 different kinds of houseplants. I love them all. I have to be careful on some of them because of my cats like to eat certain ones so they are up high.

Pothos vine is a good one -- and easy. The philodendron (although this one can get big) is a neat one too. The peace lily or spathiphyllum is popular and pretty, and if you take care of it will produce white, sheath-like blooms for you.

Those are the mainstays around my place. Kudzu is really neat too, with its big leaves and constantly shfting vines. However I've been having a lot of trouble keeping this one happy indoors. Plus you'd have to dig it up somewhere and propagate it.

Good luck.

One of my favorite house plants is an Eyelash Begonia. If you visit my 360 page, there is a picture of it in my photo album. I also have a picture of my Christmas Catus. The Eyelash Begonia grows fairly quickly. I have propogated many new plants from just a few clippings I got from my aunt. As for the Christmas Catus, the one I have on my 360 page is at least 12 years old, and she blooms for me ever Christmas.
