If I remember right, Cleopatra's contemporaries didn't think she was beautiful, but she was very charismatic. There is a bust of her somewhere.

Nefertiti is known by a famous bust, and if it's an accurate likeness, she was beautiful.

Cleopatra was not a great beauty. Nefertiti was very beautiful. Another great beauty in history was Theodora.

I don't think Cleopatra was "pretty". She was intelligent and had the power to charm great people such as Antony by her intellect. She understood important issues and history and politics, and men such as Caesar are attracted by brains, not just looks. Successful women such as Queen Zenobia of Palmyra and Eva Duarte Peron of Argentina knew that their source of power came from their brains; when your head is on straight then your body follows and becomes attractive too, but intellect leads the way.

As to Nefertiti, the only image we have of her is one sculpture in a museum in Berlin. It is quite possible that she didn't look much like that sculpture, since in many eras of history the artist's job was to flatter the subject, rather than to represent reality.

One quaint theory is that Nefertiti was in fact a man, possibly transgendered. The ancient Egyptians had concepts of marriage and sexuality very different from ours.
