Either they are not showing many of the good singers, or the talent pool is beginning to run dry. I have yet to see a performer who made me go "Wow!" like I did when Kelly or Carrie or Reuben were on there.

It's too early to say who the next American Idol will be. They haven't shown all the auditions yet. It seems to me that this time around they aren't showing the good singers on the audition shows. We see all the awful one, who are really funny to watch, but surely out of all those people, there are more that sing well than what they are showing. I don't know if there will ever be an American Idol as good as Kelly Clarkson. Don't get me wrong, all the others have been really good, it's just that as the first "American Idol", Kelly holds a special place. I wish luck to all the people who have the guts to audition.

Right now, probably Sundance. But there are still many cities for try outs. Yes, they turn away good singers because what people really want to see are the weirdos and idiots. This is why Cowell is so nasty... he realizes it is not a pure singing competion. I enjoy watching it, though. It is great entertainment.

WEL I THINK THE MALE CHEERLEADER THAT SANG "I HEARD IT THROUGH THE GRAPEVINE" SHOUD HAVE MADE THE CUT.
I LIKE SEAN-CASTRO LOOK ALIKE, SUNDANCE, THE BACKGROUND SINGER, THE OPERA GIRL, THE 16 YR OLD GIRL, THE BROTHER AND SISTER, THE TWO BEST FRIENDS...
SO FAR THOSE ARE MY CHOICES. CAN'T WAIT TO SEE TONIGHT'S "TALENT"

I'll have to wait until they get to Hollywood to decide. Most of the ones I've seen are not very good.

Its too soon for me to guess and i cant remember any of their names. the guy from Seattle with the afro stands out and the other guy with the long beard stands out to me too.
