If it is painful you will flip over on your own once you fall asleep. Generally.
And though I have never been able to find the link since there is an inflatable mattress for pregnant tummy sleepers where you adjust how much air you pump into the belly bit.
Or you can just use some large pillows to lift yourself up.
Realistically sleeping with your belly hanging down and the rest of you well supported is the best for you and baby, it is just really hard to do.

Definitly stop sleeping on your stomach. Your body wont let you much longer anyway, it's why it's starting to get uncomfortable. Pick up a body pillow at Walmart or something (They're like $10) and sleep with that on your side between your knees. I'm a belly sleeper too and could NOT sleep without my body pillow. I can't wait until 6 weeks after I have this baby and I can finally sleep agian LOL but by then my boobs will be so full of milk and swollen i might not be able too hehe. Best of luck!

Stop stomach sleeping if you are uncomfortable. I know it's hard, I am a stomach sleeper. I started sleeping on my side, with pillows under my belly and inbetween my knees. It isn't too bad except for the 5 pillows all over the bed. Good Luck.

Sleep on your left side. It's best for the baby. I know how hard it is not to be able to sleep on your stomach. That was the only thing I was really missing during my pregnancy with my children.

Yes you should stop sleeping on your stomache. The "hard ball" you are referring to is the baby uterus ect. and once you start feeling this you should not lay on your stomache anymore. The best way to lay is on your side.

Stop sleeping on your stomach tonight! You should start sleeping on your side to ensure the best blood flow to your baby and yourself. It's hard to get used to, but use a body pillow to put in between your legs. I know it can be annoying to switch things up like that, but you have to remember that anything to keep your baby healthy and happy is the best way. Congrats! Good luck! :)

You can sleep on your stomache but prop a knee or pillow on one side or the other. That way you aren't completely flat but still have the feeling of being on your tummy. That seems to be working for me. I'm a tummy sleeper and my belly (25wks) is in the way. Side sleeping is okay but my arm and hip tend to fall asleep as well. Try that and see if it works for you.

You should sleep on our left side, it is good for circulation and avoid sleeping on your back after you start to get bigger. You can sleep however you want, but it will be uncomfortable and when baby starts kicking you will not want to be on your belly. That gets annoying. I am 36 weeks and I sleep on my side and halfway on my belly sometimes, but as soon as I roll over on my stomach or my back I wake up quick!!!!

stop sleeping on your stomach! the most recommended sleeping position for a pregnant woman is to be on your side, prefereably the left (apparently that's how the baby gets the most oxygen or something). it may be more comfortable for you to have a pillow between your legs too. that's the way it was for me, anyway.

You shouldnt sleep on your stomach, it creates poor circulation for you and the baby. On the side it will be much more comfortable
You should also talk to a doctor and make sure that, that is ok. (the hard ball thing)
