I have to do a gym rubric for school and I can not find what misconduct means for floor hockey and kick save. I think a kick save is when you kick the puck out of the goal saving the other team from scoring but I am not sure. Thanks for the help.

excessive use of profanity, extensive abuse of the facility or equipment, slashing, unnecessary rough play, fighting, deliberate roughing/checking, verbal or physical abuse towards an official, opponent or supervisor, any unsportsmanlike conduct that in the opinion of the official warrants ejection.
These are examples of misconduct.
The term means any action above that the official deems to warrant a penalty.
A kick save is when the goalie drops to one knee then kicks out the other leg to make the save, all the while keeping the stick between the legs blocking the five hole.

There are 3 types of penalties. Minor, Major and Misconduct. A misconduct is therefore anything that is drastic enough to warrant a penalty longer than a major penalty. In the NHL there are 10 minute misconduct, game misconduct (thrown out of the rest of the game) and 2 game misconduct. In a recreational league or floor hockey league the penalties are likely to be harsher.

Yeah, a kick save is using your foot. As it is reflexes, you are kicking out your foot. Whether you kick the puck, or block the puck doesn't matter. Just that you use your foot, not stick, blocker, or glove.

misconduct is simply doing something that is more punishable than a penalty. In floor hockey it may mean trying to get into a fight, hitting someone harder than allowed, or some form of infraction that may have cause harm to another player. There is also a misconduct for unsportsmanship...if you argue or swear at the ref or any activity that exhibits poor sportsmanship.
